Managed IT · Adelaide, SA

Your IT, watched — not waited on.

Most IT support is reactive by design: something breaks, you call, someone bills you. Managed IT inverts that. We monitor continuously, fix small things before they become outages, and include the support rather than charging for each fire.

Monitored continuously Support included Monthly report you can read

What is covered

The whole environment, not just the computers.

Monitoring

Servers, workstations, network hardware, backups, disk space, mail flow and internet connectivity — watched continuously, with alerts to us rather than to you.

Support

Included in the plan rather than billed per incident, so nobody hesitates to call about something small that is about to become something large.

Patching

Operating systems and applications updated on a schedule, tested rather than pushed blindly on the day of release.

Endpoint security

Protection on every device, with alerts that reach a human, and encryption so a lost laptop is an inconvenience rather than a breach.

Microsoft 365 management

Users, licences, permissions, security settings and the tenancy kept current as Microsoft changes it.

Asset and licence tracking

What you own, how old it is, what it costs, and when it needs replacing — so hardware renewal is planned rather than an emergency.

Vendor liaison

We deal with your internet provider and software vendors so you are not the go-between in a three-way argument.

Reporting

A short monthly report in plain English: what happened, what we fixed, what needs a decision from you.

Backup & recovery

The only backup that counts is the one you have restored from.

Almost every business we assess has backups. A meaningful proportion have backups that have never been restored, are missing a critical system, or stopped running months ago without anyone noticing because nothing alerts on success turning into silence.

We treat recovery as the actual product. Backing up is the easy half.

  • Offsite, encrypted, versioned backups
  • Coverage checked against what the business actually needs to operate
  • Microsoft 365 data backed up separately from Microsoft
  • Restore tests performed on a schedule, with the results reported
  • Recovery time and recovery point targets agreed in writing
  • A documented recovery plan someone could follow under pressure

Plans

Two levels, depending on how much you want us holding.

Foundation Monitor — $149 per month

Monitoring, alerting and a monthly health report. We watch your network, backups, email sync and hardware health, and tell you when something needs attention. Support is available and billed as used. Suits a small team that wants early warning without a full support agreement.

Managed IT — quoted per business

Everything in Foundation, plus included support, patching, endpoint security, Microsoft 365 management, onsite visits and asset planning. Priced on the number of users and devices. Suits a business where IT going down means work stopping.

Pricing for Managed IT depends on staff count, device count and whether you have servers or are fully cloud. We will quote a fixed monthly figure after a short assessment rather than give you a range that turns out to be wrong.

Getting started

It begins with a look at what you have.

01

Assessment

Onsite where practical. What hardware, what software, what is out of support, what is at risk, and what is already fine.

02

Findings

A written list in priority order, with what it costs to address each item. You keep this regardless of what you do next.

03

Stabilise

We fix what is fragile before taking on a monitoring commitment, so we are not alerting you daily about known problems.

04

Monitor and support

Systems connected to monitoring, plan starts, and you get a monthly report from then on.

Questions

Before you ask us.

How is this different from calling someone when things break?

Cost predictability and the number of things that break. Reactive support means you pay per incident and you find out about problems when they stop work. Managed IT means most of those incidents get caught while they are still small, and your monthly cost is a known number.

What size business is this for?

Roughly five to fifty staff is the sweet spot. Below that, Foundation Monitor plus ad-hoc support is usually the better value. Above that, we would talk about what a dedicated internal person plus us covering specialist work looks like.

Are we locked into a long contract?

No lock-in trickery. Terms are month to month or annual depending on what suits, and if you leave we hand over documentation and access properly. Holding a client hostage through undocumented systems is a bad way to run a business.

Do you need to install software on our computers?

Yes — a monitoring and management agent on each device. It reports health, applies patches and allows remote support. We will tell you exactly what it does and what it can see before we install anything.

What about hardware? Do we buy it through you?

You can, or you can buy it yourself and we will configure it. We do not mark hardware up and pretend it is a service — if we can get it cheaper we pass that on, and if you can, buy it yourself.

What if we already have an IT provider?

Transitions are normal and we handle them regularly. We document what exists, identify gaps, and take over in a planned way. We would ask for a clean handover from the incumbent, and where that is not forthcoming we work around it.

Next step

Tell us what you need.

You do not need to know what to call it. Describe the problem in your own words and we will tell you what it takes to fix — and what it costs — before you commit to anything.
